"When I walked away from helming beauty editorial, I found myself less flaw focused." SO good, Christine (and I could talk to you at length about that line alone!). I so very much love how you write about beauty and kindness, to ourselves and others. ❤️
I completely agree with your thoughts on how the perception of aging is gradually evolving, though still too slowly. Speaking more abundantly on the topic is crucial to raising awareness and creating meaningful change. I especially love your point about looking beyond ourselves by focusing on others — it’s such a powerful way to shift the narrative. Community truly does have so much to offer, and when we prioritise collective well-being, we’re not only enriching others' lives but our own as well.
Love how you'cmve changed the narrative about that word, aging. Why is it so hard for us! But I am committed to challenging my thoughts and just focus on that privilege. I get to become older.

Thank you — and one day we will absolutely have a drink (or do a live) and discuss!
Yes, yes, yes to this!! 🙌🙌 XO
Your words always make me feel seen. You’re such a powerful writer🙏
That means everything coming from you.
What a powerful and enjoyable article, thank you. 💕 Let’s give ourselves permission to age the way we want to.
Thank you so much, Sheila! The more we allow ourselves, the more others (the younger generations) will also see this is the best way to grow old.
I so agree, Christine. I work with a lot of younger people and I feel like it’s my job to show them how it’s REALLY done.💕

Couldn’t agree more, Monia!

Given our recent conversation around loss of parents too soon, it feels even more impactful. Thank you for always seeing me. xx
